Teaching - Learning Methodologies

At ASB, teaching is an interactive process, with teachers introducing a knowledge topic and then facilitating a group discussion in which various details are brought up and explored by everyone in the classroom. Management is an essentially practical discipline, and students are encouraged to be active participants in a variety of fora, from the classroom to Activities for Creating a Managerial Mindset, Public Service Projects and Development Dialogues with academic and professional luminaries. Education is further brought to life through outbound programs, internships and a variety of experiential learning programs.

Continuous improvement is the guiding principle of most approaches to quality performance in the corporate world. In the same spirit, faculty members assess students on an ongoing basis, highlighting practical steps to be taken to work on areas of opportunity.

ASB students are provided with a variety of facilities that facilitate a proactive approach to learning; these include access to information via Wi-Fi connectivity, an extensive physical and digital library and course wiki sites, all of which encourage students to take the lead in researching and studying.
