Professional Interests & Experience

Has over 8 years of experience teaching economics and business courses at the University of Maryland, College Park. She was on the Deans Honor List (Economics) and was the recipient of the Graduate School Fellowship at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is also a fellow of the University Teaching and Learning Program. Her educational research interests include globalization, internationalization and pedagogical technology.

She has several years of industrial and professional experience spanning industries including marketing research firms, educational consultancy firms, hospitals and non-profits in India and the United States.

Anupama also consults for entertainment, hospitality and travel and tourism industries. Her research includes electronic commerce; telemedicine; sales force compensation; customer satisfaction and sustainable marketing. She has published in and presented at several international publications and conferences.
